Hello! I’m a new reader and came commenting of the good work you’ve done. I really like your artwork and I absolutely love the original scenes here! I’m actually a rival because I’ve been doing a FF6 comic adaption myself as a side project when I’m suffering a writer’s block. Mine is a hand-drawn one though. x) I was searching for pictures of the game’s background designs for that project which is how I ran into this in the first place. So I’m afraid I can’t read this too much because of the risk of comparing and influences and stuff. But keep up a good work, your coloring is gorgeous and while there were some weaker pages, your screen layout is almost professional. I would personally avoid the use of the heavy “fuck” word though, it may be fitting in some situations but in general I haven’t been fond of that word in fantasy, and in example in the Figaro scenes it gave the dialogue an immature touch it didn’t really need. And as known, i.e. Kefka has a lot more cleverer expressions he can use. :] But this is merely my opinion.
Thanks for your honest comments and your insightful suggestions. I use this comic project as a means of improving my art and storytelling skills. But please, don’t think of me as your rival- I think it’s great that other fans are doing their own comic adaptations. Anything to spread the FF6 love Please share a link to some of your pages if you can.
